The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA) has announced an annual forum for Illinois law enforcement executives and criminal justice system policy makers to organize and discuss emerging issues in policing. The first symposium, The New Paradigm in Policing: Contracting, Shared Services and Consolidation, will address changes in service models and partnerships with police agencies in a difficult economic environment. Featuring a panel of national experts, this symposium will provide comprehensive understanding of the various models for shared services and consolidation and also provide effective strategies for managing inherent challenges.
